We set a preliminary goal of running a NYRR 5K race in Brooklyn, and I had never imagined I would take part in a New York City race. Miki’s training plan pushed me hard, but I always could see the correlation between my progress and the work put in. In the end, the race felt great and I crushed my initial target goal time by almost a minute.
